Wonder Box, November Edition

Hello Ladies,

Here is November's Wonder Box! Truth to be told, when I got October's Wonder Box I wasn't really surprised, but thought it was not bad for the price im paying.
I decided to give November another try to see if anything changes. So here's my November's Wonder Box, let's unbox it together. :)

Like October's box, it comes with Bubble Wrap! This time they used a pink ribbon instead of Black, don't know why though.

Actually pink ribbon doesn't look that bad... looks kinda sweet. LOL enough nonsense talk let's open the box! :)

Their content card of what's inside the box, and a voucher worth RM35 for SAMPAR products.

If there's a SAMPAR voucher, there's surely SAMPAR products. I received their:
1) SAMPAR Vivid Radiance Serum - An exceptional concentration of peptides, hibiscus, and acerola. A powerful antidote to unwanted marks of time. [RM279/30ml]
2) SAMPAR Glamour Shot - Tint-free skin care that minimizes enlarged pores and wrinkles in one minute. May also be applied at any time of the day, on top of make-up. (Yes perfect for my large pores) [RM173/30ml]
3) SAMPAR Lavish Dream Cream - A day and night cream with anti-ageing properties. It provides long lasting moisture that diminishes the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and expression lines. [RM423/50ml]

What's the wrapped up small looking thing?

Office Make Up USA! Colour Glaze Eye Shadow, an eye shadow with a smooth and pearly texture that is easy to apply. It's shiny and vibrant colours are perfect for the trendy yet sophisticated you. [RM88]

This Office Make Up USA 3D Resplendent Lip Gloss was the highlight of the November's Box. Because the public knew about this, almost 400 people subscribed to this month's box. A unique lip gloss with 3D glitter and diamond effects. Contains vitamin E to provide moisture and nourishment for your lips. These are just the samples, the actual tube is bigger. [RM68]

So what do i think of Wonder Box's November Edition? Well... I would say i prefer the November's box over the October's. Reason because I'm a make-up person. :) Although the SAMPAR products in the box are just samples, but the Eye Shadow cost RM68, and that's a full sized product.

Would I subscribe to December's Wonder Box?
- Maybe, depending on my mood and also if i've got enough cash. :)

October WonderBox Malaysia (Unboxing)

Hey ladies, today I finally received my first ever WonderBox! Well it is their first box too but yeah I was pretty excited! So I unboxed it just now and took some pictures for you to see roughly the kind of products they would give. However the purpose of a Beauty Box is to SURPRISE everyone, so the format of the box may not be the same. By format I mean like five full sized products, or 2 full sized and 7 samples kind of thing.

So let's get into it!

Nicely wrapped with bubble wraps. hmm another Beauty Box that I received did not have bubble wraps. I'll give WonderBox a credit for that.

The box is actually more solid than I thought. When I saw the pictures on their Facebook Page I thought it was going to be those really cheap paper box, but nope this one definitely has class. Check out the 3D design printed on the box.

Time to openn.......

.

Tadha! That's a card that shows what products are in the box. There's also a 20% voucher for Body Shop however only applicable for their body wash.

Some of you might be thinking... hmm that's quite little... but keep in mind they are full sized products

Lets take a closer look to each and every one of the products.

SOTHYS
Sothys HOMMES's Tri-Active Cleanser has a fresh and light texture to soften and soothe sensitive skin. It also regenerates and repairs damaged skin.

A product as small as that costs...

Elianto's Princezna Mascara gives even sparse, fine lashes volume and length thanks to its unique Twist Brush for maximum coverage on each and every lash. Plus it's enriched with Vitamin E and protein rich keratin for healthier lashes. - I can't wait to try this one. But need to finish up my other mascaras first. :/

clinelle's Blemish  Clear speeds up skin healing and tightens enlarged pores. It helps relieve skin pain, inflammation and clear acne in just 1-2 days. - Perfect for me! I have huge pores and can use them after I squeeze my blackheads out. Okay you're not supposed to squeeze FYI but sometimes we just can't help it. Not to forget those annoying zits.

clinelle's SnoWhite Mask strengthens the skin's barriers, restores and maintains optimal hydration while brightening dull and lackluster complexions. - Another perfect product for me. Some people say i'm pale but I think recently I got a little darker. So this can help me maintain my fair skin. :)

Also not to forget The Body Shop's Strawberry Bath Shower Gel. It is a refreshing cleansing gel that lathers up in the bath or shower to leave your skin feeling clean, fresh and subtly scented. - I really like the Strawberry scent from Body's Shop but they are pretty expensive. So i'm happy this was included in the WonderBox!

So yeap that's about everything! Wonderbox cost only RM39.90 inclusive of postage. Hey RM40 for so many full sized products, so worth it. Not to forget Sothys that cose RM69! clinelle definitely not less than RM30 as well.

DIY Make Up Storage

Hello Ladies!

When I was assembling my IKEA Table, I suddenly got really hard working and wanted to create my make-up storage box. Do know that i'm not always like that and most of the time I'm actually quite lazy. :p

So here's the VERY SIMPLE make-up storage of mine. Sorry for the picture blurness because I accidentally OVER resized my pictures... and I can't change it back. :(

Here are the tools that I used, a blade, metal ruler and a part from a normal box.

A nice box, this is a Moon Cake Box.

It is pretty spacious and BIG so i managed to fit quite a lot of stuff.

So first I measured the perfect height for my box so i can cut the brown box according to the height. Later on I estimated an outline of how I want my makeup box to look like inside, and started measuring the length for each sections. Please give an extra 0.5cm so that the brown box will stay in place and not move around. (If you don't plan to permanently glue the brown box parts on your nice box.)

I arranged my mascara and eye liners next to each other. :) Oh yeah if you don't like the ugly looking brown colour you can wrap them with the colour similar to your box, but I didn't bother to. :p

The top part is the section where I keep my BB creams and face powder while the bottom I keep my eye primers, eye brown pencil and some products that I don't use often.

I've got a section for my blushers and bronzer.

My Eye Shadow Section, also the biggest section in the box. I had to put my false lashes there cause no where else could fit.

And there you have it! A very simply DIY Make Up Storage Box, just need some brown box parts, measure, cut, and stuff them in, without GLUE!. Oh yeah I bought my Lip Stick Holder from a Japanese Shop in IKANO... only RM5!!! It's the shop right next to ALL IT Hypermarket. :)

If you all would like to see the make up products that I have, please leave a comment below and I'll do a blogpost on that.

Silky Girl BIG EYE Collagen Waterproof Mascara Review

SPONSORED

Hello dearests!

It was an honor to be given the opportunity to review the Silky Girl's Big Eye Collagen Waterproof Mascara. Silky girl is going to hate me for saying this, but here it goes: I've never really been a fan of Silky Girl because I thought their products are really cheap/affordable, so I always thought their products will not perform what it states to; ALSO I've once bought the Silky Girl Stick Concealer and it did not cover well for me.

But... lets see how did this BIG EYE Collagen Waterproof Mascara do. :)

The applicator brush. Btw this is RM22.90 only!

My lashes before mascara, I know... short and not volume, I hate them too!

After the mascara, longer and  more volume.

Okay Can't really see here because I didn't curl my lashes properly. :p

Finished make-up.

After having dinner in a non air-conditioned restaurant, to KTZ for dessert, to sitting outdoor at Brussels for a glass of white wine till home.

My results! If you noticed a slight smudge, it's from my eye liner, not the mascara.

My Thoughts

Pros
  • Does not smudge
  • Easy to remove, was able to remove with my Simple Eye Make-Up Remover
  • Does not cause any discomfort
  • Lashes do not feel hardened by the mascara
  • Lashes feel softer after removal, like as if the mascara conditioned the lashes.
  • Suitable for everyday wear
  • Affordable at RM22.90!
Cons
  • The term BIG EYE I believed is supposed to be similar to the Maybelline Falsies, and in my opinion it did not create the length and volume that the Falsies did; however it was really close! An estimation of 70% similar to the Falsies.
  • Did not hold my curled lashes.
Product Quality - 3.5/5
Repurchase: YES! (because it is easy to wear, comfortable to the eyes, easy removal, and super affordable!)

Simple Eye Make-up Remover Review

Hi there ladies! About 2 months ago I went hunting for Make-up remover because I did not like using a cleansing oil and have the habit to wipe the make up off only I will feel it's clean. Looking around the pharmacy I came across the Simple Eye Make-up Remover for RM19.90.

The reason why I bought this is mainly because of it's naturalness. This product contains vitamin goodness for naturally healthy skin, no oil, perfume or colouring. PERFECT.

At the back it states:

  • Our make-up remover is a perfect blend of active ingredients to effectively remove even waterproof mascaras.
  • Contains PRO-Vitamin B5 - Actively restores, softens, and smoothes.
  • No oil, perfume, or colouring. - No greasy residue, no unnecessary or harsh chemicals, so it wont upset your skin.
for best results: Apply to cotton wool and wipe gently around eye area without rubbing.

The Ingredients

My experience & thoughts

Cons
  • It isn't as effective as compared to those make up removers with oil in it.
  • When remove eye shadow, have to leave the cotton pad on the eye for a few seconds only wipe off, wiping off immediately will not remove the make-up properly
  • It states to remove even water proof mascara, it does however not as effective as oil based make up removers.
  • Not able to remove the Maybelline Falsies Mascara though.
  • Smell can be a little unpleasant
Pros
  • Skin feels smooth and refreshed while using this product to remove make up
  • Can be used for face
  • No oily residue
  • Managed to remove my Silky Girl Waterproof Mascara
  • Noticed my face extra clean after using this product - such as some of the pores unclogged!
  • During the wiping process, it feels like i'm using my toner.

Product Quality: 3/5
Repurchase: Yes

The reason why I would repurchase this product is because although it does not remove some of my waterproof mascara, but it removes other make up fine. I like that it helps double cleanse my face as I've noticed some of my pores unclogged, and face feels smoother in which I believe is due to the natural ingredients and vitamins that this product contains.

Maybelline #235 - Warm Me Up Review

Hello everyone! Here is a Review/Swatch post on the Maybelline's #235 Warm Me Up Lipstick. I bought this at around RM23 from Watsons when they were having their "VIP" Sales (Member sales). I'm the kind of person that usually go for colours that are more to pink because Red doesn't really suit me but I do want to wear those hot Reds. :( Anyways here's just a quick review. :)

IMG_0040copy.jpg

I would like to apologize as the colour isnt accurate but I'll roughly describe the colour (thank God our pharmacies have testers)

The colour is more to light brownish pink, after applying on my lips the colour is like light pale pink, but has more colour and looks less pale. I wouldn't say that it looks like no lipstick at all because the colour is a little lighter than my usual lip colour or the colour tone is different. So yeah it's like a nude brownish pink kind of colour.

This kind of lip colour would be suitable for any occasion whether you're wearing heavy eye make up or just a simple everyday make up.

In the picture it looks like my lip colour but slightly darker, but in real life it actually looks a little lighter and pinker.

Pros
- The colour lasts for quite long, even if you can't feel the lipstick texture on your lips, the colour is still there.
- Does not dry out lips (not for me at least) - but advisable to apply lip balm before lipstick
- Affordable, less than RM30
- Nice and sophisticated packaging

Cons
- Can't think of any, for me so far this lipstick is pretty good and I like it.
- As for the lipstick range, there's a con and that is the colour range is pretty limited. They may look like they have quite a variety but I noticed most of them are just lighter or darker shades of one another. Limited in Red tones.

Other than that it is a pretty decent lipstick.
