Revlon Colorburst Lipstick - Blush Review

Revlon Colorburst Lip Stick (Blush)

Firstly, I love the packaging, it is so professional pretty kind of pretty. So the colour that I bought is Blush 035, it is a more natural pinkish nude kind of colour that is suitable for everyday wear

I love how they engraved the "REVLON" in the lipstick.

This is the amount of the lipstick given, I did use it few times before taking the pictures, about 5 times probably? But I'm pretty sure I didn't use much that the lip stick decreased its height/length.

Here are the swatches, the one on the left is one swatch, right: two swatches.

Whenever I wear lipstick, I have to put lip balm first because my lips can get pretty dry.

Bare Lips. I have medium coloured lips I think, but definitely not light.

*The colour looks lighter in camera

From the picture you can see that the picture below is more brownish pinkish nude than the top picture. The Colorburst Lipstick has a glossy feel and effect to it. So this isn't like those matte lipsticks.

This colour is suitable for everyday wear, and it will also go well with strong eye make up.
Strong eye make ups such as Smokey Eyes, or anything that is striking, or eye catching. When the eye make up is strong, the lips should usually be more toned down, so that there is a balance on our face. Another reason for the lip colour to be less obvious instead of bright colours such as super Red Reds, Fuchsia, is so that the attention would go to the eye make up that we put so much effort in!

Price is RM39, but I got is for RM35+ cause of SALE! - Watsons

Texture:
Moist feel, colour is pigmented especially for a light colour like this. When applied it doesn't feel dry, but after it fades off, I felt like my lips were a little dry, however my friend on the other hand said it wasn't dry for her. So it depends on individual, furthermore my lips are more on the dry side.

Will I repurchase?
Only when on SALE because honestly RM39 is kinda pricey for me.

Hope I helped! :)

*This colour has been discontinued in the States, if you like this colour better grab it now while stocks last in Malaysia.

Silky Girl Perfect Cover Concealer Review

Pros:
- Non-sticky, as some stick concealers can be a little sticky
- Good coverage for dark circles
- Long lasting
- Very affordable, only RM15.00

Cons:
- Not suitable for people with dry skin
- Only 2 tones available
- Doesn't cover well for pimples
- Doesn't cover exactly EVERYTHING. If you see my picture below, after applying this concealer, there are some dots appearing under my eye which I didn't know I had. So it made that more obvious.
- Dries quickly once applied on skin. Due to this sometimes before I could spread them out, some of the concealer is stuck on my skin. Strange I know.

Rate: 2/5 - because of the dots
Repurchase?: No

However, this product works well for my other friend. Basically the only thing I dislike about the product is causing the dots under my eye appearing more obvious, other than that it's fine.

Hada Labo Gokujyun Review

While I was looking for a new facial wash to try out hoping that it'll do my skin better, I was attracted to Hada Labo. Reason is because I saw a lot of Ads in magazines regarding this product and at the same time many good reviews

So this facial wash claims that it:
1. Hydrates as it cleanses
2. The super hyaluronic acid will restore skin's natural moisture leaving it silky smooth.
3. Cleanses gently, leaving skin hydrated and refreshed
4. Low Irritation
5. Free of fragrance

My Experience
1. It does indeed hydrates, my skin felt soft and comfortable after cleanse, did not feel dry at all. It felt really clean and fresh. BUT - it did not clear out my black and white heads. Noticed while using this facial wash for a month, blackheads condition did not improve, and I think it got worse. So this is not suitable for people with a lot of black and white heads like me, or even acne.

2. Yes it did restore the natural moisture, face was silky smooth after cleansing.

3. Indeed the cleansing was gentle, in fact too gentle for my skin. Even so, my skin felt hydrated and refreshed.

4. I did not encounter any irritation however I remember the first few times using this product, I noticed weird dots on my face. The dots looked like mosquito or some insect's bite, but it wasn't itchy.

5. I guess so, because it did not smell nice. Honestly I don't really like the smell of it

Conclusion
It's a very gentle facial wash, suitable for every day use, and for those with normal skin. Don't think it's recommended to those with black and white heads, or acne even.

Rate: 2.5/5
Repurchase?: No. I like the after wash feeling but no point using it if it doesn't help my skin condition
